St Begh's Catholic Junior School

The children have been participating in the project at school. They have created a brand 'Cash for Kids' and have set up a couple of smaller businesses.

They held a cookie sale at school raising around £100.

They have proceeded to set up a jewellery making business where children in the school have requested personalised necklaces and bracelets which have had over 100 orders so far for them. They are now in the process of making all of the bracelets / necklaces.

The children are also running a World Book Day fair with various activities and games.

The children at St Begh's have had a fantastic last couple of weeks!!

They ran an event in school based around World Book Day where they sold cakes, painted faces, gave temporary tattoos, and ran a variety of other stalls. This generated a profit of around £600 and was a massive success.

They have been running an ongoing necklace and bracelet business over a few weeks and were so inundated with orders that they had to delay making some of them in order to order more stock! All items have now been created and distributed to the customers.

The final event that the children decided to run was a film night in school. This was very well received, all children who were present at this were provided with a hot dog and a drink. The children had to factor all these costs into their budget. This generated around £300 profit.

They have been keeping a book in school with some pictures of their events.
