' The Dream Placement is a fantastic opportunity for students to discover what careers are available to them on their doorstep and I hope they've found their time here valuable. '
Rory O'Neill, Stakeholder Relations Director, Sellafield

' GSK Ulverston were really keen to support the Dream Placement Initiative 2014. The placement gives us a chance with three local talented sixth form students to provide them an insight into our business and how we work each day with the company values to make a positive difference to the patients at the end of our supply chain. The week-long programme was designed by Laura Jenkins and has really demonstrated the breadth of the business at Ulverston and also included a visit to our customer site in Barnard Castle. It has been a really worthwhile investment and a great development opportunity for our staff as well, whom I would like to thank for their contributions. '
Greig Rooney, Site Director, GSK Ulverston

' All the companies involved continue to be impressed by the calibre of the young people on the scheme, their intelligence, talent and commitment. Those young people now have a unique opportunity to gain experience which will benefit them whatever their choices are for the future, and for the employers it gives them a chance to take a close look at some of the county's most talented and ambitious young people. '
Al Mather, Former Managing Director, CfLP

' It's a great opportunity to visit Sellafield site and see what goes on – it's a really interesting place and much bigger than I thought! From the week I hope to gain new communication and team working skills that I can apply to my future career. '
Jade Goodwin, student at Whitehaven School on placement to Sellafield

' It's really interesting visiting the site and seeing what people do – I think a lot of people don't realise the importance of what goes on here. Whilst I'm here I hope to pick up communication and business skills that I can use in my future career. I'm hoping to have a career in business after university but I like the idea of an apprenticeship with Sellafield Ltd being another option for me. '
Anna Morgan, Sixth Form student at Millom School on placement to Sellafield
