DESCRIPTION:Primary Business Partnership offer FREE TRAINING to local businesses to deliver career workshops across West Cumbrian Primary schools. \n\n\n\nThe Primary Business Partnership have developed a range of exciting career-based workshops aimed at year 5 & 6 primary pupils to help raise aspirations and broaden horizons and encourage children to dream big about their future careers and gain an understanding of the type of jobs available. \n\n\n\nThe workshops bring learning alive by linking lessons to careers. They also provide opportunities for children to meet inspiring employers so they can explore different jobs and understand the essential skills they’ll need for the future. \n\n\n\nThese interactive workshops will introduce both of our most popular Dream BIG and Who Uses This? workshops with the option for further training in either activity or/and supporting & shadowing our expert facilitators delivering into schools. DESCRIPTION:ProjX | Connect with your future workforce \n\n\n\nLocation: A secondary school in West Cumbria \n\n\n\nCommitment Time: 1-hour session during the programme runnin \n\n\n\n\n12h June @ Lakes College\, Lillyhall\n\n\n\n\nOpportunity: \n\n\n\nAs part of the ProjX work experience week\, each Student project team will plan and lead a meeting involving professionals from different businesses.We are looking for volunteers to take part in these student-led meetings. You do not need to have a specific specialism. \n\n\n\nBusiness professionals are invited to attend the 20-minute meetings with each project team. In a typical ProjX week\, there may be two or three consecutive meetings. The volunteers do not need to prepare anything but come willing to listen and share advice and give feedback to the teams on their meetings. \n\n\n\nThe aim of this activity is for the students to demonstrate their understanding of how to prepare and lead an effective business meeting.
