Cumbria Future Generation
Cumbria Future Generation (CFG) is led by a steering group of young people and delivered by the Centre for Leadership Performance in collaboration with Enterprising Cumbria. It supports 16-30 year olds as they transition into employment or higher education, offering tailored support, opportunities, and resources to help them take their next steps with confidence.
Programmes for Young People
Our work awareness programmes for young people aim to build confidence and readiness for the transition from education to the workplace. Additionally, we offer a FREE signposting service for 16-30-year-olds, connecting them with local opportunities. Our early career support provides information, helps build key leadership skills, and engages young people with county issues.
Get Involved
There are many ways you can get involved including volunteering to inspire the next generation of leaders, sharing your expertise and guidance as a mentor, helping primary pupils develop mini social enterprises, helping primary pupils build key skills or joining the Cumbria Future Leaders Steering Group to help shape CFG’s direction and influence activities for young people as they transition into employment or higher education.
