We have been researching what we would like to do for project brightstars.
What did you learn this week?
We have been learning all about bright stars and listening to what Vicky does at Jigsaw.
What did you find difficult this week?
All agreeing and coming up with items that we want to sell.
Week 2

We have decided what we are going to make. We are going to make sweet kebabs and sweet boxes that will have a drawing and a positive quote on. We have decided on a team name - Sweet Treats, designed a logo, made posters and the 2 project managers that have been voted by the class has given everyone jobs. Either: sales, manufacturing, finance or design.
What did you learn this week?
They have learnt all about different roles for a business to work, how they will do their role and working together as a team.
What did you find difficult this week?
Deciding on what to make and how to achieve it in the £50 given to begin with.

we have bought all of items to make the sweet boxes and kebabs. We have made them and advertised them ready for next week.

Week 5

This week we have been promoting our products even more by having children on playground duty to entice people inside.
we reduced our offer on the sweet kebabs as we are wanting to sell Christmas stock in a few weeks so we can start with that.
What did you learn this week?
We are becoming better at sales and working as a team. It is running more smoothly than the first few weeks.
What did you find difficult this week?
To maintain the product i.e getting people to buy it as the novelty is wearing off for the children buying them.
Week 6

We changed our sweets this week so more children wanted to buy them.
What did you learn this week?
That we need to change things to keep in exciting, i.e. different sweets.
What did you find difficult this week?
Everything went well this week.
Week 7

We have been reducing out prices to sell off the sweet kebabs and boxes we currently have so we can make Christmas stock on Friday such as snowmen kebabs.
What did you learn this week?
That we sometimes need to reduce prices to make money.
What did you find difficult this week?
Trying to get rid of all the old stock!

We held a coffee morning/afternoon and sold our products.
What did you learn this week?
How much stock etc we needed to make sure we had enough to sell.

Trying to not over buy/ under buy.

We have learnt that we have worked well as a team, we faced and overcame all barriers from the last few weeks.
