We have decided that we would like to make Christmas decorations with positive messages on that will make people happy. We want to do this because some people do not have anyone to share Christmas with so we hope that they will feel happy when they see our decorations.

This week we met Sarmad our partner from Arup. We completed job applications stating which role we would like in the project. We also found out about the job Sarmad does at Arup. It was great fun and we are looking forward to starting our project.

Week 2

This week we learnt what a social enterprise is. We learnt about how they help charities and have a message attached. We decided that we want to make Christmas decorations with positive messages on to make people feel happy when they look at them. We decided that we want to give our charity money to Barnardos as they help people all year round.

Week 4
Tell us what you have been doing this week
This week we were put into different teams and given roles. We worked together in out teams to think about the different things we would need to buy, how much it would cost, a venue to sell our items and the date. We decided that we will set up a stall at our school's Christmas fayre.

This week we made posters to advertise our company. the finance team also calculated the costs.

This week, we advertised our event around school and the village and bought the items we need for making our decorations.

Week 9

Selling event week! This week, we sold our Christmas ornaments at the village Christmas fayre. We sent out reminders to all the school and community to encourage them to come and support us. We had a very good turn out and sold many of the ornaments. We raised £130!

How to communicate with people in order to get them to buy our product. We also practiced our selling skills!

Week 10

This week, we completed our end of project report.

We raised £130 which will be donated to Barnardo's.
