Week 1
Team name: The Snackers
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We had a club on Thursday and decided who did what. We want to sell cakes to walkers who will enjoy them very much because they are hungry. We used an old cupboard and put it outside our school car park so passers by can take the cake themselves and pay. We used some of our money to buy ingredients, boxes to store the cakes, and baking trays. We made posters to show what we are selling and how much it costs. We have talked about which charity we would like to support, but haven't decided yet.We have made £34.41 this week.
What did you learn this week?
We learned about the different jobs in a business and we decided who was going to be our manager. The other roles are accountants, helpers, writers, advertisers. We all help with the baking. We really enjoyed it! We learnt that boxes are more expensive than bags so in the future maybe we use bags.
What did you find difficult this week?
We found it difficult to think about what to put on the presentation we had to make for our showcase assembly to tell the whole school about what we are doing because we will all get involved in this.

We are making flapjack and blondie cake. We have tried to put crisps in this week. we made £61.26 pretty good. We got a nice review from people visiting from Chorley.
What did you learn this week?
We need to triple check the oven temnprutre as one of our cakes burned and that was quite sad but we still had some more cake to sell this week didn't go too well as and we made little profit as we burned a cake so we had less products to sell .
What did you find difficult this week?
We didn't have Miss Hall at club and we were so busy we accidentally burnt the blondie So we had less to sell which means we made less. We did get to eat it but it might affect our turnover this week.

We have been baking and collecting the money. We found lots of nice reviews on Monday that had been written and emailed over the weekend. The water comes from Lidl we do not use tap water we buy it that makes you pay less for water so you do not have to go to lidl to buy water you just need to come to us. They are only £1 and they are so soft and light that they are easy to cut!
What did you learn this week?
