Week 1

Team name: St. Cuthbert's Nursery

Tell us what you have been doing this week

We have begun the manufacturing process. Trying recipes, adding ingredients and testing the product. after a little trial and error, we're pretty pleased with the results.

Our products are made from natural materials.

We feel we are making a difference by promoting taking time for yourself by relaxing with our bath fizz. We would also like to brighten everyone's day while we are out in the community, spreading smiles and having conversations with new people.

What did you learn this week?

We have learned trust the process. Follow the recipe and just have a go.

What did you find difficult this week?

Ordering exactly what we need and getting the quantities right has been a challenge. We have ran out of certain ingredients and had to source more to continue the process.

We have been to a couple of local events to sell some of our product .We visited our local food bank and a cafe in our town. We also found a different way to present our bath fizz. We have made cones and baubles filled with bath crumble.

What did you learn this week?

We have learned how to engage with some of our customers. Greeting people with a smile and a hello. Using lovely manners and being thankful has made people smile.

What did you find difficult this week?

Getting to where we need to be is sometimes tricky. We have need adults help to get around...and adults are busy people. We will need to be more organized with asking for help next time.

Week 5

Tell us what you have been doing this week

This week we ventured to our local Co OP to sell some of our product,
We met lots of lovely people who wanted to talk to us about what we'd made and who we are.
It was a really fun morning.

What did you learn this week?

We learned that a smile goes a long way. Greeting our customers with a lovely wave and a "good morning" really made some peoples day.

What did you find difficult this week?

Again, transporting ourselves to and from different venues was difficult. But with a little help from a few generous grown ups, we managed.

Week 6

Tell us what you have been doing this week

We were given some refillable Christmas baubles. Which was great as we were able to re use a product. The looked super cute and gave us an opportunity to get more interest in our product. The children had a super time scooping the fizz into the baubles and making the labels.

What did you learn this week?

We learned how to take our time and be careful. The baubles were a little more tricky to fill than the bags.

What did you learn this week?

We've learned that we're actually becoming quite good at making our product! We have favourite jobs that we like to do. Some of us like to weigh and mix the ingredients while others like to fill the bags or label the product.

What did you find difficult this week?

Fitting everything in is becoming tricky. This is a very busy time of year for us.

Week 8
