We were late getting started so only discussed the project this week.

We chose our business name 'Amazing Animals' and decided on a project. We wanted to set a date for our Pet Show.
What did you learn this week?
It took us a long time to make decisions without a project manager. We votes and Max and Jacob are our project managers.

Week 3

We got some feedback from our business and they suggested that we may not have enough time to organise our project, so we moved it from the 20th May.
We have also decided to sell drinks.
What did you learn this week?
We have got into groups to arrange parts but it took us a long time to agree on things.
We haven't done the letter yet.
What did you find difficult this week?
Week 4
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We spent more time trying to agree drinks and prices and have worked out costs. We are going to sell cans of drink for £1 each and we are going to buy them from Asda (24 cans for £9). We are going to sell juice for 50p and water is free,
We talked about dog food and treats but it is going to cost too much.
We looked at medals but they were too expensive. We asked the headteacher and she found some rosettes that the school are not using and has donated them to us. We will use these for prizes.
We managed to write the entry form.

We learnt how to save money and that we can't buy everything we want to.
We need to know how many people are coming.

Deciding which drinks to buy.
The medals were expensive.
We needed some help to write the entry form.

We made some posters and thought about who we could ask to judge the pet show.

We need to talk to the builders about the pet show day.

Week 6 - Half Term

We checked that someone was getting the drinks for us.
We thought about a float.
We reminded the children to bring back their forms

We have about 20 pets coming.

We held our Pet Show. We had 22 pets including cats, a pony, lambs, guinea pigs, a snake, rabbits, a tortoise, chicks, a duck, puppies and dogs.
We had about 30 parents come to our event.
What did you learn this week?
We had to plan a lot on Tuesday which we hadn't thought about.
We didn't have any judges so two of our team judged it who don't have pets.

Getting everything ready.
