Update 1

Tell us what you have been doing this week

In the first week of our programme we met Natalie and Shirelle from the System People. We had to say our names names and share at least one thing that we like or do not like. It helped us to find out a bit more about each other. We practised our good listening skills. We also completed our baseline survey to understand what sustainability means.

Update 2

Tell us what you have been doing this week

Today, we discussed what our project will be about. We decided what feelings and emotions we would like to include in our leaflets. We were working on the leaflets.

Update 3

Tell us what you have been doing this week

We worked on strategies that you could use when experiencing different feelings. The group decided to use social media as a tool to present our project, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram were discussed. The group distributed a survey to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students to find out what young people already know about the mental health.
