Cumbria born and bred, Lucy studied art and design at Lakes College before completing a filmmaking degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.
She began to develop her skills in graphic design and social media through freelancing as a brand designer for businesses in the county, which encouraged her interest in marketing generally. She also offered her skills as a volunteer during the Covid-19 lockdown, sharing her digital and ICT skills with Cumbria CVS, Volunteer Managers and volunteers in Cumbria
Lucy joined the CforLP team in November 2021. She is responsible for co-ordinating digital marketing including website updates and social media content.
She says: “I am over the moon to be part of the CforLP team. I will enjoy encouraging people of all ages to develop their own leadership skills and dream big!”
