Development Opportunity: Mentor a Mini Changemaker

Support primary-age pupils as they develop their own mini social enterprises through the Bright Stars programme, helping them make a positive impact in their local communities. As a mentor, you’ll guide pupils through their enterprise journey, offering encouragement, advice, and insight into the world of business and social impact.

Commitment: 8 hours over 8 weeks

When: April–June 2026

Location: Your local primary school

Age Range: 5–10

What’s Involved:

  • Work with pupils to set up their own mini social enterprises using seed funding

  • Provide guidance on creativity, teamwork, planning, and social impact

  • Encourage pupils to reflect on their ideas and develop practical solutions

  • Support pupils with weekly updates and check-ins (some mentoring may be online)

  • Attend the programme online celebration event at the end to recognise achievements
