Paid Opportunity for Early Career Artists (18–30) | ADAPT Project

Are you an emerging performer passionate about working with young people and creating bold, socially engaged work?

The Knotted Project Theatre Company is recruiting three Early Career Artists (aged 18–30) to join their upcoming Arts Council England funded project, ADAPT. This exciting co-creation project will bring together young people from across Cumbria to develop and perform a brand new production.

Selected artists will:

  • Work collaboratively with young people to co-create a performance
  • Form part of the cast and perform onstage alongside participants
  • Take on a dual role as Performer and Facilitator

The project runs July to November 2026, with performances in West Cumbria and a tour to Barrow in October.

  • Fee: £3,200
  • Eligibility: Early Career Artists aged 18–30
  • Deadline: 13th June, 9am

ADAPT is supported using public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and is delivered in partnership with organisations including Everyone Here, Arts Cumbria, Rosehill Theatre, Full of Noises, and Brewery Arts.
