We have not been able to properly start our project yet because we have had a big harvest meal celebration and that took a lot of time. Although soon we will have lots of exiting things to share!

Everybody is really happy and exited for what their jobs and the project will involve.
We are thinking about a name for our project and planning what we need to do over the coming weeks.

We planned the Christmas fair and we did the sorting of our teams also a lot of other things. All the people in our class have been working on this project and have got different jobs. The jobs include the CEO's who oversee the whole project but everybody is happy and enjoying it!

Week 5

This week we have been creating some of the games that we are going to use in the Christmas fair. We have also been designing the cross-coin which will be the currency used in the Christmas fair. We have also started making the posters.

Week 6

This week we are finalising the posters that advertise the Christmas fair. We are getting stuck in with creating some of the games that will be used in the Christmas fair. We have also started sewing for the scrunchies. We are creating the cross-coin on paper now. We're creating the signs for lots of the stalls in the Christmas fair. we are making some cookies too. Our aim for this project throughout the whole thing is to be as sustainable as possible. this week we have also been designing signs for the prices of things we are selling.

Week 7

We organised who was coming to the Christmas fair. We did lots of maths and counted lots of money. We did the maths about how much money we spent and had left over and we counted the change for the day. We also created posters for the stalls as well. And finalised lots of things. We sorted who was doing what and who was coming for the day and what the games and stalls were. We were finishing all of the final bits and things to do.

Making sure we had space for all the stalls in the hall

The Fair was very well attended and had a brilliant atmosphere

This is our sustainable stall with everything recycled or repurposed.
Week 8
Tell us what you have been doing this week
The Christmas fair actually happened on the 29th of November. And now we are trying to find out what people thought of the fair. We are also counting the money that we made and seeing if we made a large profit. We are doing overviews too. These are for us to reflact on the project and see what we have learnt and how things went for us.
We made over £500 on stalls and £350 on refreshments
What did you learn this week?
We learnt that running our own stalls was really fun but involved lots of hard work!
What did you find difficult this week?
We found the tidying up after the fair quite aot of work. it took a really long time and next year we defiately need more helpers!

This week, we completed our evaluation sheets and finalised all the paperwork from the fair.
It has been a really busy week in school so we havemt had much time to focus on the project!
What did you learn this week?
We learnt the importance of reflecting on what we have done and how we can improve things. We filled in an evaluation sheet so that we know what worked and what didnt work when plan for next year's fair.
