Week 1

Team name: Shine Bright

Tell us what you have been doing this week

We wrote a letter to tell Paragon saying what we wanted to be. Paragon read them and they interviewed us. We had to persuade them and tell them why we would be good at the job. We got told which job we were going to be doing.

What did you learn this week?

We learnt how to properly do an interview by convincing people in writing and talking. We found out you don't always get things in life if you want it you can always get it next time. We learnt to cheer people up and how it feels for others as well as saying good points about the job they got.

What did you find difficult this week?

If someone saw you spelt something wrong.
Having confidence and finding words to describe the job you want.
Not getting your first choice of job

Tell us what you have been doing this week

We worked together and used people's ideas and helped each other to come up with our top 5 ideas. Then we did a vote and decided that three things we are going to make are lemonade, keyrings and bookmarks.
We found out how to make lemonade and what we need.
We used the ipads to look at prices of lemons and things in different shops.

What did you learn this week?

We learnt that all things had to be shared. We couldn't just say that's not happening we had to include other people's ideas.
We didn't know how much things cost and we didn't know how much sugar was in lemonade.

What did you find difficult this week?

Some people weren't thinking of others. They were bossy, left out, raising their voice, messing about or weren't considering others ideas so we had to talk abut how we can be kinder to each other.
