Tell us what you have been doing this week
We joined the Bright Stars Teams event and learned all about what a social enterprise is. We gathered lots and lots of ideas on things we could do for our own social enterprise.
What did you learn this week?
We learned we were going to take part in Bright Stars and found out what a social enterprise is.

Week 2 - half term

Tell us what you have been doing this week
Mrs McDougall from Owl Blue visited us in school and we got to know each other. She told us a little bit about what her job involves and we spoke about kindness and what it means to us.
We discussed the ideas for our social enterprise and decided kindness was very important to us. We decided to make objects to sell and after a vote it was decided that pocket kindness buddies was the most popular idea.
We drew our own design ideas and wrote a shopping list of the things we will need and took it down to Mrs Heaney in the Office so she can order these things with the seed funding.
What did you learn this week?
We learnt that everyone needs to be kind to each other to make sure we have a happy world.
What did you find difficult this week?
We had some very big ideas so we needed to make sure we decided on something that we could complete in just a few weeks.
Mrs McDougall from Owl Blue helped us learn about the importance of kindness.
Week 4
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We wrote kindness messages onto love heart paper. These will be put in the finished bags.
What did you learn this week?
Kindness can be shown in lots of ways, helping mum match the socks, picking up children who have fallen in the yard, smiling at someone who looks sad...etc.
What did you find difficult this week?
Writing small letters to fit on the love heart.
Writing careful letters.

Brian the dog came to visit to show us how easy it is to be kind and make friends with everyone.
We set to work producing our pocket pebbles.
What did you learn this week?
How easily kindness can be spread.
How much fun it is decorating pebbles.
What did you find difficult this week?
Washing the pen off our hands afterwards.
