Global AI-powered digital transformation specialist, Atos UK, is the latest company to partner with the Centre for Leadership Performance, supporting a range of sustainable programmes and initiatives designed to promote leadership and the development of young people in Cumbria.
CforLP Executive Director, Sarah Glass, welcomed the commitment from Atos for the organisation’s work, including the delivery of meaningful programmes, such as Bright Stars and Dream Placement.
She explained: “We are thrilled to announce that Atos has chosen to partner with us in delivering long term social value impact for West Cumbria. The CforLP is increasingly focused on building long-term, mutually beneficial and impactful partnerships, where every one of our partners and clients feels valued as part of an inclusive, sustainable and intergenerational leadership community.”
Atos provides digital solutions and IT services across the cloud, cybersecurity, data and AI, application services, smart platforms and digital workplace, alongside localised consulting and advisory services. It helps clients to manage their most critical environments, particularly in regulated and sovereign sectors.
Atos has worked with Sellafield Ltd since 2012 with day-to-day operations focused on providing ICT services for its 12,000 strong work force.
Leigh Seaman, Client Executive Partner, Atos UK said: “We’re delighted to partner with CforLP and help support the West Cumbrian community. This partnership reflects our commitment to being inclusive and society-motivated, building on a relationship we’ve built up over the last couple of years. We share the passion and ambition of Sarah and the team at the CforLP, and we look forward to helping them continue to develop future leaders at every stage of life.”
Sarah adds: “As a not-for-profit organisation the CforLP wants to continue to work in partnership with Atos and other local businesses, educators and young people across the county, to drive measurable long-term inclusive social value, encourage transformational community leadership for everyone and champion Cumbria as a great place to live, work and thrive.
“We continue to deliver our flagship programmes that encourage and ignite leadership aspirations, capability and capacity for everyone at all stages of their learning journey. An important element is facilitating and brokering connections and building eco-systems and opportunities for partners and subscribers to feel truly connected and a valued part of the work we do.
The CforLP has developed a range of partnership packages designed to accommodate different budgets and meet social value aspirations from SMEs and grant funders to regional employers, large organisations and corporate organisations.
They support activities including programme development, delivery and expansion, enhanced monitoring and impact reporting, and help fund leadership development, employability and skills support, mentoring and coaching, and support for teachers, staff and employees.
There are many ways partners like Atos can get involved and engaged in the CforLP leadership community through regular partner meetings to explore opportunities tailored to suit the partner organisation’s needs, capacity and future aspirations.
Mentoring brings senior leaders into contact with future talent while graduates and apprentices can develop their leadership skills and bring new perspectives to school age young people through Leading Change, Bright Stars and other volunteering opportunities
Partners can provide guest speakers at leadership events, Lunch and Learn online, Dream Placement events and leadership forums, participate in panels and co-host intergenerational dialogues, as well as as engage through annual leadership conferences.
Partnership also provides priority access to the Talent Development Pipeline through links with Dream Placement and Cumbria Future Generation opportunities, internship and placements, leadership development and networking opportunities events, plus offers access to first line manager networks and alumni group
Collaboration can also extend to thought leadership and research; co-creating reports and insights to share with our wider networks, and contributing to case studies, newsletters and discussions on future leadership trends
The CforLP can provide partners with annual social value impact and project reporting, client dashboards, as well as tailored impact to fit a company’s own objectives and measures. Key metrics include the number of pupils reached and schools supported, the range of leadership skills developed, confidence, aspiration and employability outcomes, plus case studies with quotes from young people and employee volunteers.
