We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Cumbria Future Generation Steering Group. This group brings together young people, youth boards, and organisations from across Cumbria to shape and guide activities that benefit young people as they move into employment, training, or higher education.
Commitment: Bi-monthly meetings (second Tuesday of the month, 5–6:30pm)
Location: Online via MS Teams
Session Aims:
The Steering Group exists to give young people a voice in shaping opportunities across Cumbria. Members work together to influence programmes, events, and resources that support 16–30 year olds, ensuring that their ideas and perspectives help guide the future of Cumbria Future Generation.
Responsibilities:
Contribute ideas and feedback on activities, campaigns, and events
Help influence the direction of Cumbria Future Generation
Represent the views and experiences of young people in Cumbria
Work collaboratively with peers, youth boards, and partner organisations
Who Can Get Involved:a
We are looking for dedicated 16–30 year olds across Cumbria to join the Steering Group. We also welcome those outside this age range who represent youth organisations or work closely with young people.
