Tell us what you have been doing this week
- We have made posters to advertise a cake sale that we will have next week to raise more money for our business.
- We made invitations for our cake sale and handed them out to everyone in the school to take home.
- Miss Nattrass shared a post about our cake sale on our school Facebook.
- We walked to Tesco to buy some things for our cake sale.
- We made some rice crispy cakes to sell at our cake sale.

Week 2
Tell us what you have been doing this week
-We had a cake sale at school and we raised £250
- We have started to make our bracelets to sell
- We created ideas for our business name and voted for our favourite
- We designed logo ideas for our business and voted for our favourite
What did you learn this week?

What did you find difficult this week?
- Making bracelets because I don't know how to tie them
- Counting the money because not everyone knows the numbers for the coins

Week 3
Tell us what you have been doing this week
- We made more bracelets and started making key chains too.
- We have made some different bracelet designs and done some research to find out which ones were most popular.
- We have made plans to take our equipment to The Centre that we have chosen as our charity so that we can make bracelets with people from the local community.
- We have made a presentation about our business for when we go to events.
- We have recorded our presentation and shared it on our school social media to let people know that we will start selling our product next week.

How to be more resilient when we make our bracelets.

What did you find difficult this week?
Threading small beads.
Week 4
Tell us what you have been doing this week
- We have made more products to keep selling
- We have started to sell our bracelets every morning at the school gates
- We have told the other classes about our business and sold bracelets to them
- We have started to make bracelet kits to sell for the half term and made a video to advertise them on Facebook
- We also wrote instructions to go in our bracelet kits
- We have made posters and invitations to invite our grown ups to come and make bracelets at school after half term
What did you learn this week?
We learnt we have to be more careful with our beads so they don't get mixed up.
We learnt how to write good instructions with lots of detail to go in our bracelet kits.
We are getting better at figuring out how much change people need.
What did you find difficult this week?
Not selling as many bracelets as we thought we would so we moved our stall outside to the front gates and we have then sold lots more.

Week 5

- We made more products and carried on selling them.
- We went for a visit to The Centre so that we could see where we will be selling our bracelets after half term.
- We made some more bracelet kits.
What did you learn this week?
Some of us have learnt how to tie knots.
We have practised our presentation so that we are loud, clear speakers.
What did you find difficult this week?
Remembering what we are saying in our presentation.
Putting the beads into the bracelet kit without spilling.
We haven't sold as many bracelet kits as we thought we would.
Week 6 - Half Term

Tell us what you have been doing this week
- We went to 'Coffee and Craic' at The Centre to sell our products.
- We went to 'Biccies and Banter' at The Centre to share our skills and make bracelets with people from the community.
- We showed people at The Centre our presentation about our business.
- We gave The Brownies some of our bracelet kits and they helped us by making some.
- We counted our money and updated our tracker.
What did you learn this week?
We practised our presentation again before going to The Centre.
How to knit.
Some of us have managed to tie knots this week.
What did you find difficult this week?
Some of us found talking to new people at The Centre a bit nerve-racking.
Remembering our parts for the presentation.
Telling people the instructions for how to make a bracelet was a bit tricky.
Week 8
Tell us what you have been doing this week
- We have kept our money tracker up to date.
- We have organised a non-uniform day to celebrate our last day of our business.
What did you learn this week?
We have talked about how we think our business did, things that we found tricky and what we would change if we did it again.
What did you find difficult this week?
Some of us are really sad that our business is finished!
Week 9
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We have been making our final video and making sure all our documents are complete.
What did you learn this week?
We have been less shy and embarrassed when filming parts for our video.
What did you find difficult this week?
Editing our video to make it shorter because we had so much to talk about. Remembering what we were going to say when we filmed our video.

It has been lovely to see the children grow in confidence as part of running their business. They have all tried really hard and had a great time. Their resilience has grown throughout this project and they have faced every hurdle as a team.
