Young people aged 11 to 16 are invited to take part in Garden Young Rangers, a hands-on conservation volunteering session delivered by Cumbria Wildlife Trust in Kendal.
Taking place on Saturday 8 August (10am–1:30pm) at Plumgarths, this session offers young people the opportunity to get involved in practical outdoor activities that support nature and conservation. Tasks may include working in the garden or tree nursery, depending on what is needed on the day.
The session is ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to gain experience in conservation work while building confidence and developing practical skills. Participants will work in a supportive environment and contribute to maintaining and improving green spaces.
Young people should come dressed appropriately for the weather and bring a drink and packed lunch.
