A series of music workshops for neurodivergent and disabled young people is taking place at Full of Noises in Barrow-in-Furness, led by composer Tom Culling.
Running across four days (10, 14, 17 and 21 August 2026), this programme offers participants the opportunity to explore music creation in a safe, supportive and accessible environment.
Young people aged 11–17 will take part in group sessions focused on composition, improvisation, performance, and music technology, including live electronics and recording. Participants will work together to create and record their own piece of music, building towards a final informal performance.
The workshops are suitable for all experience levels, including those with no previous musical background. Sessions are designed to be inclusive, with breakout spaces available and carers welcome to attend.
Delivered across two weeks, the programme includes full-day sessions with breaks, and places are limited to ensure a supportive group environment.
This is a great opportunity for young people to build confidence, learn new creative skills, and collaborate with others through music.
