Week 1
Team name: The A Team
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We looked at the ideas from our homework and had a vote on what idea we should choose and we decided on a festival called A-Fest and it included all of our ideas.
In our homework we applied for a job, we were interviewed (if you wanted to be a managing director) by Dave and Tania and they picked a managing director and deputy.
We chose our charity as St, Mary's Hospice after a class vote.

Having an interview, choosing a social enterprise to work on and choosing a charity to donate to.
Week 2
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We decided on our name for our team (the A Team) and for our festival-A Fest-.
We designed our badge.
We chose which team we wanted to be in.
What did you learn this week?
We learnt what the UN sustainability goals are.
We learnt about different companies and took bits out of their logos and put them in ours.
What did you find difficult this week?
Picking a UN sustainability goal to work on.
Week 3

We made a logo for our fest and voted for our favourite one.
We found out which logo won the vote.
What did you learn this week?
How to make a logo and working in a team.
What did you find difficult this week?
Voting for our log and picking what we were going to do at A Fest.
Week 4
Tell us what you have been doing this week
working in teams to make a slip to go out for our events.
Mini Olympics: certificate and poster.
Talent show : Entry slip.
Recycling : Poster.
Refreshments: Poster to say what they will sell.
football : planning games.
What did you learn this week?
To make a poster for the groups and make sure everyone knew what was going on.
What did you find difficult this week?
Making posters for A fest and putting them up in school.
Week 5
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We wrote a letter to saint Marys hospice and made certificates for mini Olympics and Askam's Got Talent and bought prizes and ingredients for baking cakes with the starting £50 and sent out letters to grown ups about A Fest.
What did you learn this week?
We learned how to write a letter to ST. Mary's hospice and how to bake cakes.
What did you find difficult this week?
Writing a letter to ST. Mary's Hospice and getting it to them. we also found making posters and cakes quite difficult

This week, we finalised our plans and activities for 'A Fest'.
We planed were we would run our games, got the recipes and ingredients for making cakes

Week 8
Tell us what you have been doing this week
This week was a very busy week getting ready for 'A Fest' on Friday afternoon.
We did a test run and tested our events, we also made cakes
What did you learn this week?
Its really ,really, really, really ,really, really, really hard to run an event.
What did you find difficult this week?
Keeping a good festival running for a whole afternoon.
Week 9
Tell us what you have been doing this week
We spent this week making a video all about our Bright Stars experience. we made scripts to help us answer the questions in the video. we counted the money and found out that we had made £596.28p for our charity (St Mary's Hospice).
What did you learn this week?
We learned how to make a video and we wrote a script for the people that spoke in the video to read from. We also learnt how much effort has to be put in to make a festival for our community and village.
What did you find difficult this week?
Keeping a sustainable festival and managing our group and running a festival.
